$ 50 million more for Flipboard

Flipboard continues to receive money, now there are 50 million more, as we read in Techcrunch, an amount that also entered in 2013 and that served to strengthen its enormous foundations within the world of web news.

It is not easy to make your way within that category. Readers are used to accessing specific media, they often reject those options that request customization of their reading channel (surely that is why feed readers have never been used by the general population), but Flipboard has played cards well, has integrated with mobile devices, has partnered with large manufacturers to have the application pre-installed, has offered an easy way to create magazines … has reached millions of people who use this application by default to know the main news of the day.

The investment now comes from JP Morgan, one of the oldest financial services companies in the world (you can see its story here). The value of the company has not been made public, but it can be anywhere from $ 800 million to $ 1.32 billion.

The curious thing is that this operation occurs just when rumors about the sale of flipboard to Twitter do not stop circulating, although it must be borne in mind that the rumors surrounding a possible purchase of Flipboard have existed on the Internet for many years.
