Amnesia – a fast-paced game to train your brain

Amnesia is an interactive adventure made in flash by the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) that proposes the player to solve different riddles, clues and puzzles to advance through four exciting levels.

In the game, each user embodies the main character of the story, who after losing his memory, wakes up in an unknown environment. After finding a mobile phone, the player must use it to search for clues and obtain the six digits that will take them to the next level.

The structure of Amnesia is a combination of first person games with role-playing games, since the perspective is as if the user were in the different scenarios and must select with the mouse the actions they want to perform.

At the beginning of the game, the participant must choose a community in which to participate according to their own personal characteristics: the Bioborgs Guild (specialized in logic and analytical thinking), Team Codebusters (in mental speed) and Qi Brotherhood (in emotional intelligence) . The purpose of these communities is that the player thinks about what their potentialities are and can develop them along four levels: the main entrance of a mansion, a bedroom, a tent on a mountain and a restaurant.

The game has an interesting option to Enhance teamwork. It is a chat, in which the player can converse with other players who are currently online and who have chosen the same community. Through the talks, you can discuss game strategies and even divide your search for clues.

The project is aimed especially at schoolchildren between 12 and 18 years old and to play you only need to create an account by filling out the registration form.

Amnesia is an innovative and interesting proposal to exercise the mind while having a good time playing.
