Eero, the amazon-owned company responsible for the famous router that we talked about months ago, has announced that it will also be available for sale on the Apple website, available in new countries, including Spain.
It is the complete line of products, including the Eero and Eero Pro Mesh Wi-Fi routers, which is now sold in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain within Apple's own website.
Eero did not specify whether its products will be available at Apple retail stores when they reopen, but they are already available at apple.com.
From Eero's blog they comment that it is a great step to bring eero to more customers and homes around the world, providing them with a secure and reliable network for their smart home.
Along with those of Eero, Apple already sells Linksys and Netgear mesh Wi-Fi systems, but it is the first time that it is associated with Amazon in this regard, since it is competition in many other sectors. Amazon, for example, did not start selling Apple products until the end of 2018, and its offer is still very limited.
Eero announced HomeKit support for its routers in February, allowing users to integrate Eero routers with Apple's Home app, so it appears that the partnership will continue to grow on these devices.
If you want to know more about the sector, we recommend these two videos that we made about the world of routers:
Surely we will never see the Google routers on the Apple website, but everything indicates that Apple has given up on this topic and lets other companies take care of the sector.
