Twitter is an excellent communication channel, there is no doubt about that, although the lifetime of written texts is extremely short.
If we publish a link to a news item at 3:00 p.m. and continue to publish texts during the following hours, the probability that someone will see the first link at 8:00 p.m. is quite small, something that can be a problem on certain occasions.
bssth.is was born to help us partially solve this problem. It allows us to write on Twitter normally, including a link in the same way that we would in other clients such as hootsuite or tweetdeck, the difference is that at the same time we can send private messages to the users we want, thus allowing those contacts not to be lost the link posted.
Although it is a way to increase the number of private messages, something that may not be desired by many, it can be very useful when we want to ensure that someone reads a text regardless of when they connect to twitter.
In the image you can see an example of its control panel, from which we can also read the updates of our contacts.
