Custom channels, the social network of the redesigned BitTorrent client “Chrysalis”

The trend in recent times is that any application, whatever the function it allows to perform, is more social, a trend that BitTorrent is targeting with the first beta of its application known as Project Chrysalis, which was already announced last March. The intention of the redesign of the main BitTorrent client is to be simpler and easier to handle in order to expand its quota of users, who otherwise would not use the application. The last feature that has just been added to the BitTorrent client, in its first beta, is the custom channels, a social network type feature that allows users to create specific and private personal channels for whatever they want, where they can host photos and videos in which they are the legitimate owners of the materials they upload. Users can create channels and invite other users to participate, using different ways to do so, incorporating and commenting on said material, and whose material can also be downloaded through BitTorrent. Apart from this function, BitTorrent will continue to allow the download of other types of content, as always. Link: Chrysalis Beta (Download) | Goes: FayerWayer
