Jose M. Luis, head of development of EducaBlogs.org, introduces me to this network in Spanish that can help students and teachers around the world a lot.
The idea is to create a platform that allows students to create websites and teachers to manage them (although they can also create them). The objective is to allow:
– Share materials, news, downloads, links and much more. – Facilitate online discussions. – Share work plans. – Create websites on specific topics. – Integrate videos, music, podcast and other communication media. – Publish the works of class.
The free version does not allow to save much space in each account, nor does it have many themes available to alter the aesthetics of the created websites, but it is enough to work in groups in a productive, modern and efficient way.
Many of the features of educablogs.org are expressly designed for teachers, such as the Assessment tools and the Virtual Exam tool.
A project that is committed to the creation of blogs in the academic environment, something that I have already commented several times at the Wikisaber Foundation.
