According to information released today by ComScore, echoed by the newspaper specialized in finance and economics El Economista, reports that Google has become the first company on the Internet to exceed the barrier of 1,000 million unique users, a situation that occurred the month of May 2011. With an 8.4% increase in its visits compared to the same period in 2010, Google will have surpassed the mythical barrier of 1,000 million unique users. In terms of increased traffic, not only Google had an upward curve, since all the main players in the sector registered increases; some of them very interesting. The second place in terms of unique visitors has been for Microsoft, who had in May 2011 a total of 905 million visits, an increase of 15% compared to the same month of 2010. Third, but with a significant increase in its visits in the last year, calculated at 30%, is Facebook, with a total of 714 million. And finally, the fourth place is for Yahoo, with 689 million visits, with a 10.8% year-on-year increase.
