From Hootsuite comes great news: the web application in Spanish is now available, adding to the already existing ones for iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone, BlackBerry and Android portable devices. The translation of this Social Media management tool has been carried out through a crowdsourcing process and the collaboration of several coordinators, for which they have had the support and help of the community. The news comes accompanied by a spectacular infographic showing the growth of the tool in our language, with more than 1,500,000 unique users around the world. In it we can see such interesting data as:
– The Spanish-speaking countries with the most HootSuite users are Spain (33% of the total #), Mexico (22%), Venezuela (11%), Argentina (8%), Peru (6%), Colombia (6%) and Chile (6%) .– The Spanish-speaking country that has sent the most messages to Twitter is Mexico, followed by Spain and Venezuela.– The growth in the number of HootSuite users during the last six months is 93% in Spanish-speaking countries, compared to to 68% overall.– The Spanish-speaking countries with the highest growth during the last six months are El Salvador, Venezuela, Honduras, Guatemala and Puerto Rico. All above 100% .– The outstanding social networks managed through HootSuite are Twitter, with 54% of the total accounts added to HootSuite, and Facebook with 24% of profiles and 10% of pages.
