Lenovo decides to re-market Motorola smartphones in China

After Lenovo bought Motorola from Google last October, The company has decided that it is time to re-market Motorola smartphones in China., something that Google decided to stop doing as soon as it acquired the company.

This is what Lenovo has announced in the last hours through a statement published on its official website where it implies that they have seen a new opportunity in this market, which is why they would have made the decision to re-market the smarthones of Motorola in China, a country of great importance for this market. For the moment, Lenovo will deliver three new Motorola devices to China during the first quarter of this year: the Moto X, Moto X Pro, and Moto G with 4G LTE technology.. Recall that Motorola stopped marketing smartphones in the country in 2013 (when it was part of Google), which is why now they must find a place in a country with a lot of competition, where the presence of brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi or Huawei is quite strong. Still, it is interesting to note that the market share of Lenovo and Motorola together put both companies in third place in the smartphone market, behind Apple and Samsung.
