Microsoft's Sway abandons preview phase and launches Windows 10 app

A few months after the first anniversary of its launch, Microsoft has just announced the general availability of Sway, its new tool that enables the creation of presentations with professional designs in a few minutes in which different types of content can be combined. Sway is already available for all forms of Office 365 for both business and education, and can also be used by private users through a free Microsoft account.

In addition, Sway now has its own native application for Windows 10, available through the Windows store. According to the announcement of the company, the application combines all the functions of Sway to which other additional functions are added, both on PC and tablets. In this sense, from Microsoft they point out that the application they have launched is for PCs and tablets, being working to have the Sway application available for Windows phones, something that they hope will happen in the coming months.

In addition, Sway will take into account all those aspects that have been widely demanded by users throughout the preview phase. Proof of this, from Microsoft they are working on a new design for their level of navigation, which will make it possible to access all kinds of content in a grouped way to facilitate their choice.

Finally, it will now also be possible to share the presentations created through Docs.com, recently relaunching. With all this, Microsoft invites all users, from individuals to professionals, to begin to have their ideas take shape in the form of presentations.
