When buying a mobile, there are more and more factors to take into account. And it is that, in recent times, mobile phones are integrating fast charging technologies that make waiting for hours to have the phone fully charged obsolete.
Oppo has just reached a new milestone when it comes to fast cable charging technology. The company has introduced its new 125W fast charging technology, which allows charging a 4000 mAh battery up to 41% in 5 minutes, and up to 100% in 20 minutes.
The company explains that its new technology is the technical design evolution of its SuperVOOC standard, which has undergone a comprehensive hardware architecture upgrade, being also compatible with previous SuperVOOC and VOOC standards, as well as being compatible with conventional standards, including 65W PD and 125W PPS.
Now, the question is whether the new technology is safe, to which the company also responds. In this sense, they point out that security protection features have been strengthened by having 10 additional temperature sensors that monitor the state of charge and guarantee maximum safety during charging, to which is added other measures such as overvoltage protection in fuses and type C to type C cables, in addition to algorithms 128-bit high-strength encryption.
All this gives rise to this milestone, assuming at present the industry’s most advanced fast charging technology, allowing loads of up to 20V 6.25A with improvements in the power density properties that have allowed the reduced charging time without increasing the size of the magazine.
In terms of battery, they point out that each battery:
It is equipped with dual 6C cells with an innovative battery ratio, industry-leading multi-flange structures, charging pumps, and a highly integrated MCU to improve charging efficiency.
In addition to the most advanced cable fast charging technology of the moment, Oppo has also introduced its 65W AirVOOC wireless fast charging technology, the small 50W SuperVOOC mini charger, in addition to the 110W mini fast charger.
