Periscope launches Couchmode, a new way of viewing the content of the platform

In the last few hours, the Periscope team has presented a new way of viewing the videos that users share through the streaming platform. We are talking about Couchmode (in Spanish, sof mode), a new mode that will allow you to view Periscope videos in a much more comfortable way, allowing you to switch to another video quickly if the current one does not attract your attention.

Despite the fact that the company has not issued any official statement presenting this new feature, from the official Periscope account on Twitter they have retweeted a tweet published by Bill Couch (product engineer on Twitter and Periscope) in which he announces the new Couchmode. . To start using this new mode, it is only necessary to access Periscope through the URL to randomly connect to any Periscope user by streaming video through the platform. The main peculiarity for which Couchmode stands out is for having an arrow button at the top right of the screen to go to the next streaming. In this way, as with television, we will be able to zap until we find content that catches our attention, something that could be useful for regular users of the platform.

We take this opportunity to remember that you can download Periscope completely free of charge through both the App Store and Google Play.
