StoryPod

Storypod, a screenless entertainment device for children that triumphs on Kickstarter

Storypod is a curious interactive toy for children that a father of two daughters has developed as an alternative to entertainment devices for children that have screens. The aim is to offer an intelligent and educational device completely free of screens, which can offer hours and hours of entertainment, avoiding overexposure to the screens to the youngest, targeting children from three years onwards.

Basically, Storypod is the base on which the minors will place on top a series of cute children’s figurines called Crafties, which are also ecological and washable, with which they will have access to a series of audiobooks, podcasts, music, and other types. of sound content.

In addition, his project also allows the recording of personalized messages for the Crafties through the complementary mobile application myCrafties, being able to tell stories, to jokes, or even funny messages, or whatever they can think of to address to the little ones.

Storypod is currently in the search for funds through the collective financing platform Kickstarter, having far exceeded the goal of 25,000 dollars, and that there are still 49 days of campaign left so that new sponsors can be added through the rewards that are still available, considering that there are already rewards that are completely sold out.

The idea is that the rewards begin to be sent to the respective sponsors anywhere in the world during the next month of December. With this, its developer will expand its slogan Less screen time, more story time to other parents who want to entertain their children without having to always be in front of devices with a screen.

As is often the case, sponsors will be able to obtain their units at reduced prices compared to the official prices at which they will reach the market once the campaign ends and the corresponding units are distributed.

It only remains for the children to enjoy their Storypods.
