Surely this news does not surprise you at all: the new Grooveshark has been closed, and has reopened in a few hours.
It was predictable, considering that this Grooveshark in reality it is just a cheap copy that was born to take advantage of the name.
And what happens when you take a foreign name from a service that was closed? Well lawyers, many lawyers. Thus, as TorrentFreak reports, the service that was on grooveshark.io is no longer accessible, after the new owners of the brand (the multinationals that closed the original Grooveshark) have imposed a lawsuit.
The new Grooveshark goes around looking for his place
Now, it’s not as if this has slowed anyone down before. At the time of writing these words this Grooveshark (based on MP3Juices) has a new home at grooveshark.vc.
The funny thing is that since the last time we saw it it has received some improvements, such as a player at the bottom of the screen always present.
And it is not the only one that we can find in the network. Grooveshark.im is another alternative that is going around a lot in recent days, with a more attractive interface and faster access to recent successes.
