Today begins the “XIII Edition of Navegantes en la Red” ??

Today is the first day of the XIII Edition of Navigators on the Net the study on the Internet with the largest sample in Spain, which has become an excellent tool to deepen the knowledge of the use of the Internet in our country.

Organized by AIMC (Association for Media Research), a non-profit organization whose social purpose is to increase knowledge about the use of different media, the survey will be active to collect information from Internet users among the October 19 and December 12 of this year 2010.

In past editions they obtained, through this survey, data such as:

– 5 years ago, only 17% of those surveyed connected to the internet through mobile phones and now 1 out of 3 internet users do so.

– In 1996 only 1% of the population had access to the internet.

– 1 in 3 Internet users connect more than 30 hours a week.

To disseminate the action and get more responses, an ad hoc video has been created for this edition of the study that we can watch on vimeo.com or download on YouSendIt.

You can follow the issue from Facebook and Twitter, participating actively on its main page: survey2010.aimc.es, where 3 iPads are raffled.
