Using Picnik, the online image editor, within Facebook

It has rained a lot since I spoke about Picnik for the first time in 2007. Not only has it been acquired by Google, thus being integrated into several other online services of the same company, such as Orkut or Google Chrome, it has also evolved to become the editor of images most used within Facebook. I now show you the procedure to be carried out in order to improve the photos that we publish on our Facebook profile using this practical system. As discussed on the official picnik page within Facebool (www. facebook.com/PicnikPhotoEditor), we can, among other things, rotate the images, crop them, change their size, alter the brightness and contrast, adjust the color, improve the focus and remove red eyes After accessing the apps.facebook.com application / picnik and install it for free in our account, we will have access to all the images uploaded to our profile, showing a top menu where we can filter them:

We can choose the photos in which we appear, those of our friends’ profiles, those that we have uploaded in our albums … all with the option of editing the image on the same page, sending it by mail, opening it or saving it. As you can see in the following image, the editing menu is in Spanish, allowing access to the different editing functions offered. Each option has a different submenu, as you can see in the assembly that I leave you next. In addition to these tools, we also have access to various effects available to customize our image: As you can see, the possibilities are unlimited, there are thousands of combinations to improve the quality of the images we publish on Facebook.
