Earlier this month we talked about the launch of the new version of Google Maps, which among all its news came with a music player integrated into the application itself. Now, since Waze they have released a beta version of their application for iOS and Android that includes a built-in music player with support for a total of eight different services.
As confirmed by Waze, the player available in the new application will work with Spotify, Deezer, iHeart Radio, NPR One, Pandora, Scribd, Stitcher, and TuneIn. Even so, not all platforms are compatible with both operating systems, but it will be enough to connect one of them to Waze to enjoy the new function.
Thanks to the integration we are talking about, Waze users can enjoy their songs, podcasts or favorite audiobooks Without neglecting the potential of the application's navigation system, it will continue to reproduce addresses and alerts. Despite what's interesting about this new feature, Apple Music or Google Play Music users won't be able to take advantage of the feature, at least for now.
At this point it is important to note that the player we are talking about is available in beta version, but it should not take long to reach other users. Specific, Waze have confirmed that they will be available in the coming weeks.
