Wunderlist for OS X now allows adding tasks from any application

The popular productivity application for computers and mobile devices known as Wunderlist has received an interesting update in its version for OS X, as we have been able to read on the official blog of the company. Thanks to this update, Mac users will be able to add tasks to Wunderlist without leaving the application they are using.

To do this, the Wunderlist team has enabled a keyboard shortcut with which it is possible to add tasks regardless of the application in which we find ourselves. Just press the CTRL + Alt + W key combination to launch the new function known as Quick Add, a small bar from which we can add tasks in a matter of seconds. To do this, just type the name of the task and click on the + button. One of the most interesting advantages of Quick Add is its setting to detect the expiration date and reminders. of a certain task: it is simply necessary to introduce some context in the name of the task, such as delivering documentation tomorrow. Thus, Wunderlist will be able to set the due date as tomorrow and a reminder. Also, Quick Add also incorporates a really interesting search function. To activate it, click on the magnifying glass icon located next to the button to add a new task. In this way, we can use Quick Add to search for any task or category in our Wunderlist account. From Wunderlist take the opportunity to announce that the new Quick Add function is also available on Apple Watch. Thanks to this, we can dictate tasks to the clock and this be able to configure the deadlines and reminders of them.

Both the Wunderlist update for OS X and Apple Watch are available as of today.
