The popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer known as Xiaomi has just introduced two new smartphones just hours before the conference in which Samsung is expected to unveil its new terminals. Specifically, Xiaomi has released two 5.5-inch terminals known as Redmi Note 2 and Redmi Note 2 Prime.
If we focus on the main technical characteristics of these new devices, Both models have a 5.5-inch screen with an IPS panel that offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.. Inside the Redmi Note 2 we find an eight-core processor at 2GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage capacity, while the Redmi Note 2 Prime stands out for including a better processor (2.2GHz) and offering 32GB of storage. Also, both terminals have a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-front cameraas well as a MicroSD card slot and a 3,060 mAh battery. Finally, these new models are expected to incorporate MIUI 7, the new version of Xiaomi's Android-based operating system.
Both terminals will go on sale in China from August 16 and will be available in both black and white and pastel colors. As for its price, the Redmi Note 2 will be marketed for around $ 125 a change, while the Prime version will have a price close to $ 155.
